Refund & Cancellation Policy
The Holistic Grooming Academy (HGA)
Last Updated: 15/07/2026
This policy explains your rights and responsibilities regarding cancellations, refunds and changes to enrolments for programmes delivered by The Holistic Grooming Academy (“HGA”, “we”, “our” or “us”).
1. Consumer Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have statutory rights under UK consumer protection legislation. Nothing in this policy affects those rights.
2. Digital Learning Programmes
When enrolling onto a digital programme, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period.
However, if you request immediate access to digital learning materials and expressly agree for your course to begin immediately, you acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel may be affected once digital content has been accessed, as permitted under applicable consumer law.
This agreement will be requested during the enrolment process.
3. Printed Learning Packs
Where a Premium Printed Learning Pack has been dispatched, refunds may be reduced to reflect the cost of printed materials, packaging and shipping already incurred.
Students wishing to return printed materials must contact HGA before returning any items.
Returned materials must be:
unused;
in resalable condition;
returned within the agreed timeframe.
Students are responsible for return postage unless goods are faulty or supplied in error.
4. Before Course Access
If you cancel before accessing any digital learning materials and before printed materials have been dispatched (where applicable), you may be entitled to a full refund.
5. After Course Access
Once digital learning materials have been accessed, refunds will normally not be available unless required by law or where HGA determines exceptional circumstances apply.
6. Module-by-Module Enrolments
Each module purchased forms a separate contract.
Refund requests relate only to the current purchased module and do not automatically affect future enrolments.
7. Payment Plans
Students choosing a payment plan remain responsible for completing all agreed payments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to complete payments may result in:
suspension of course access;
withholding of assessment;
withholding of certification;
cancellation of enrolment.
Outstanding fees may remain payable in accordance with the enrolment agreement.
8. Transfers & Deferrals
Requests to defer studies or transfer enrolment will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Approval is at HGA’s discretion and may be subject to an administration fee.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
HGA understands that unexpected life events can affect study.
Where serious illness, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances arise, students should contact HGA as soon as possible.
Where appropriate, we may offer:
temporary suspension of studies;
an extension;
deferred enrolment;
other reasonable adjustments.
Supporting evidence may be requested.
10. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If printed materials arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect, please notify HGA within seven (7) days of delivery.
Where appropriate, replacement materials will be provided at no additional cost.
11. Cancellation by HGA
HGA reserves the right to cancel an enrolment where:
payment obligations are not met;
academic misconduct has occurred;
these Terms & Conditions have been seriously breached;
continued participation would reasonably be considered inappropriate.
Where HGA cancels an enrolment for reasons unrelated to student conduct or breach of contract, an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be considered.
