We are a UK-based CPD Provider dedicated to advancing professional grooming industry standards through a dog-led, welfare and science-backed approach to grooming processes.

Creators of The Applied Behaviour and Welfare Grooming Framework, and home of the multi-award-winning, internationally recognised ‘Behaviour Grooming Diploma’, we are considered one of the leading, innovative education providers for modern day groomers.

We are so passionate about raising awareness of the significance grooming has to not only the physical wellbeing of dogs, but also their emotional wellbeing.

Placing a strong emphasis on behaviour and welfare science, we equip our students with the knowledge and skills to work with dogs more compassionately, and cooperatively so that grooming experiences are no longer something dogs dread, but rather, enjoy.

Founded in March 2020 during the world pandemic, The Holistic Grooming Academy has since welcomed over 5,000 groomers into their community and prides itself in being considered one of the leading, innovative leaders in modern day grooming practice.

Our founder, Stephanie Zikmann, is a multi-award-winning dog groomer, behaviourist and dog trainer, having helped to successfully rehabilitate over 300 dogs over the last 9 years.
